Active and completed, at a glance
Search by name, filter to what you are still taking, and see dose, frequency and duration on every card. Mark a dose Taken or Skipped without opening anything.
Prescription scanner · Dose alarms
Photograph a prescription. HealthVault reads it, builds the schedule, and takes over your screen at every dose — even when the app is closed.
Free to start — 3 prescription scans a month, no card needed.
One photo to a full schedule
Nothing is saved to your medicine list until you have read it and agreed with it.
Photograph the prescription, or pick one from your gallery. Preview it, retake if it is blurry.
Uploading, analysing, extracting. AI pulls out each medicine, its dose and its frequency.
Check the extracted list. Edit a row, delete a wrong one, add a medicine by hand. If the photo was not a prescription, HealthVault says so and offers a retake.
Reminders are scheduled for every dose, and the alarm takes over the screen when the time comes.
Inside the app
Five tabs, built around the two things that actually matter: knowing what you are on, and taking it.
Search by name, filter to what you are still taking, and see dose, frequency and duration on every card. Mark a dose Taken or Skipped without opening anything.
A weekly ring — green above 80%, amber above 50%, red below — plus a dated history of every dose for each medicine.
A grid of your scans with the original photo, the date, the doctor and the medicines that were extracted. Tap the image to open it full screen and zoom in.
Set a separate time for each dose of the day. Change a schedule and the alarms are cancelled and rebuilt for you — doses already taken today stay untouched.
Choose a default snooze of 5 to 30 minutes, and cap how many times one dose can be pushed back. After the cap, only Dismiss remains.
A separate clinic dashboard for practices: invite patients, see the patient list and detail, and read clinic-level adherence statistics.
Why the reminders work
A push notification joins a queue and waits its turn. A dose does not. HealthVault asks Android for exact-alarm, full-screen-intent, foreground-service and boot-completed permissions, so a reminder lights up a locked screen, keeps ringing if you close the app, and comes back after a restart.
Snooze and Dismiss work straight from the notification — the app does not have to be open for the dose to be logged.
Notification permission is asked for once, on your first visit to the home screen. Decline it and the app still works — you simply won't be rung until you grant it in Settings.

HealthVault does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.
It stores what your doctor prescribed and reminds you to take it — nothing more. Extraction from a photograph can be wrong, which is why you review every medicine before it is saved. Always follow your prescriber's instructions, and speak to them before you change, stop or start a medicine. You accept this disclaimer when you create an account.
